Evangelos BRIASOULIS is currently Professor of Oncology and Head of the Academic Department of Clinical Hematology in the Medical School of the University of Ioannina in Greece. He is also the Scientific Director of Cancer Biobank Center of this institution.
Pr Briasoulis has as a strong research background and expertise in clinical drug development, clinical trials, experimental therapeutics and discovery of novel cancer targets and lately in epigenetic and microRNA biomarkers in blood cancers.
He has designed, conducted and authored numerous phase I to phase III clinical trials in oncology, as a member EORTC or the HeCOG and is involved in the developement of metronomic navelbine.
He is the authors of over 140 publications which have been cited over 3500 times.
