Dr. Wendy Cristhyna Gómez García Is a pediatric hemato-oncologist working in Dominican Republic where she works as a Physician Assistant of the Hematology and Oncology Unit in the Dr. Robert Reid Cabral Childrens Hospital.

She completed her initial pediatric training 2005 – 2008 in the Dr. Robert Reid Cabral Childrens Hospital and her Hem-Onc. Pediatric Fellowship at IOP - St. Jude international partner site UNOP in Guatemala.

She is member of several scientific societies such as the Dominican Medical College, AHOPCA, the Guatemalan Association for the Study and Treatment for Pain, the Dominican Association of Hematology and SIOP; also she is Collaborator for Intl. Outreach Program – St Jude Childrens Research Hospital in DR and Haiti.

She is currently developing a pilot palliative program offering basic pain management and an integrative support. As part of this initiative, since March 2012, she is proposing metronomic treatment to some of the patients.
